Grant Ideas

 

Do you have a great idea for a project related to Animal Welfare? Let us know what it is and we could give you up to $500 to make it happen.

 

Here are examples of other ideas we liked.

 

Promote animals for adoption.
Help your local pound by advertising their animals for adoption. Create a Facebook fan club for various animals, make posters for around your city, or send email blasts with the animals that are in danger of being put to sleep.
Organize a series of events to draw awareness to animal cruelty.
Organize a series of fundraisers (or participate in existing events) to generate awareness about animal cruelty. Consider sporting events/tournaments, talent shows/competitions, dances, car washes, bake sales, garage sales, merchandise sales (i.e. T-shirts, dog tags, pet supplies, etc.).
Organize a series of events to draw awareness to endangered species.
Organize a series of fundraisers (or participate in existing events) to generate awareness about endangered species. Consider sporting events/tournaments, talent shows/competitions, dances, car washes, bake sales, garage sales, merchandise sales (i.e. T-shirts, animal toys, etc.).
Organize a series of events to draw awareness to animal testing.
Organize a series of fundraisers (or participate in existing events) to generate awareness of animal testing issues. Consider sporting events/tournaments, talent shows/competitions, dances, car washes, bake sales, garage sales, merchandise sales (i.e. T-shirts, stickers, etc.).

To apply for a grant, simply tell us about your great idea in 5000 characters or less. Be sure to summarize your idea, how it will involve others, who it will help, what effect you expect to have, when you want to start and how you expect to spend the money you're requesting.
